Former Customers

Privacy notices that you receive from other financial institutions may contain ‘opt-out’ provisions that require you to request that your information not be shared with non-affiliated third parties. Please be advised that because we do not share your information with non-affiliated third parties (other than as permissible by law), there is no need to notify us or respond to ‘opt out’.

Fair Credit Reporting Act Notices

We continually strive to maintain complete and accurate customer records. We may report information about your account to credit bureaus. Late payments, missed payments, or other defaults on your account may be reflected in your credit report.

Affiliate Information Sharing

Transaction or Experience Information. This is information bearing on transactions or experiences with one of our affiliates. For instance, information relating to the type of account that you hold and the history on that account is ‘transaction or experience information.’ The Fair Credit Reporting Act permits us to share this type of information between affiliates without notice to you and without providing you with an opt-out so long as the information is not used for marketing purposes. Accordingly, We will share transaction or experience information among our Graystone Tower Bank divisions and affiliates but we will not use this information for marketing purposes. This means we do not need to provide you with the ability to opt-out of sharing this information.

Other Information. Information contained in a consumer report or an application for credit would not generally be considered ‘transaction or experience information.’ That information is defined as ‘Other Information’ in the Fair Credit Reporting Act. We will share credit information between the banking ‘divisions’ of Graystone Tower Bank (permissible sharing) but will not share that information between the ‘divisions’ and Graystone Mortgage LLC or vice versa. Therefore, no opt-out for sharing ‘Other Information’ is required at this time.

  • If you complete an online application, you’ll need to supply identification so we can process your request and correspond to you.
  • If you bank online and want to access your account, you’ll need to supply information as requested so we can verify your identity.
  • If you allow us to send you e-mail messages, we will retain the information you provide us to deliver e-mails of specific interest to you.
  • If you send messages to Graystone, we may retain your e-mail message, your e-mail address and our reply to you.
